PRELIMINARY TASK : WISHES

As part of an experimental project with our Media teacher, Sir Nadeem Zulfiqar, my friends Shahan, Zafir and I filmed a short video. For this initial task, he selected "Wishes" by Hassan Raheem and instructed us to create a video specifically focusing on its chorus.

Our teacher provided us with a gimbal and video lights to experiment with. Utilizing my iPhone 13 Pro, we embarked on filming, and the outcome was impressive. Employing a technique known as slow-motion lip sync, we synchronized the lip movements to the song played at an accelerated pace. Later in the editing phase, we adjusted the clip's speed to match the original tempo of the song.

Zafir took on the role of acting, Shahan managed the lights, and I handled the filming. This exercise proved invaluable in acquainting us with various aspects such as lighting manipulation, diverse camera angles, and the creative potential of slow-motion footage. It offered us an early insight into the intricacies of crafting a compelling music video.
