RESEARCH : OUTCOME

After immersing myself in the intricacies of crafting music videos, I've decided to take a conceptual approach. I've always favoured music videos that avoid overt narratives, as they can limit one's imagination, tethering the song to a predetermined storyline. As an artist, I'm particularly captivated by visual beauty. Music videos that mesmerise me with their artistic imagery hold a special allure. Take, for example, Lana Del Rey's "Love," a video that initially sparked my fascination with music videos and eventually became my favourite. Its ability to encapsulate the essence of the song so flawlessly is something I aspire to achieve in my own work.

Having settled on "Teri Tasveer" by Bayaan, a Pakistani band, I'm aiming to craft visuals that harmonize with the song's vibe. My vision involves exploring diverse compositions while striving to capture authentic and natural shots. An intriguing aspect to consider is my ongoing exploration of synesthesia, a condition where multiple senses are triggered simultaneously. Interestingly, I exhibit symptoms of this condition, often experiencing a vivid music video playing in my mind whenever I listen to a song. Synesthetes can translate sounds into colour, enabling them to "see" songs as visuals. Embracing this unique ability, I'm excited to infuse my video with the colourful imagery that accompanies the music in my mind, adding an extra layer of depth and immersion to the viewing experience.
