PRODUCTION : SHOOTING DAY 1, 2 & 3

DAY 1

On my first day of shooting, I successfully completed half of the car scenes using a 1987 Mini Cooper, which added to the nostalgic atmosphere I sought to evoke in my music video. The outdoor scenes were scheduled for this day and fortunately coincided with favourable weather conditions, allowing the natural lighting to enhance the desired aesthetic of my shots and elevate the atmosphere I aimed to convey.

The natural lighting accentuates the mood and atmosphere, casting subtle shadows and highlighting the details of each shot. From sweeping landscapes to intimate moments inside the car, the montage captures the essence of the music video's nostalgic vibe, inviting viewers on a visual journey through time and emotion.

DAY 2

On my second day of shooting, my focus shifted to capturing indoor scenes featuring the antagonist and the female lead.

DAY 3

On my third day of filming, my focus shifted to capturing indoor scenes depicting the workspace of my protagonist. To authentically recreate the ambiance of an old workspace, I meticulously designed a set adorned with vintage elements. Among these, an old lantern passed down from my grandmother's era, which I unearthed from my attic, served as a centerpiece. Additionally, I adorned the table with aged books, old drawing paper, and crayons to evoke a sense of nostalgia. A bookshelf filled with antique volumes further enhanced the vintage charm of the set. To find a suitable location that matched my desired vibe, I reached out to my father's friend, a lawyer, whose workplace exuded the old-world aura I envisioned for my protagonist's workspace.

The soft glow of the antique lantern casts gentle shadows across the weathered pages of vintage books, while the flickering light adds an ethereal quality to the scene. Against the backdrop of a well-worn wooden desk, stacks of old drawing paper and crayons evoke a sense of artistic nostalgia. The bookshelf, lined with timeworn volumes, serves as a testament to the protagonist's intellectual pursuits and creative inspiration. Each frame captures the essence of a bygone era, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the world of our protagonist's imagination.
