POST-PRODUCTION : EDITING

During the post-production editing phase of my music video "Teri Tasveer," I harnessed the capabilities of three major editing software tools: Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, and Capcut. Each of these programs specializes in specific aspects of editing, allowing me to leverage their strengths to achieve the desired results.

Initially, I laid out the foundation of my project's timeline in Premiere Pro. This software served as the backbone of my editing process, offering robust features for assembling and arranging footage seamlessly. However, when it came to incorporating titles, I turned to Capcut. I found that Capcut provided an extensive selection of readily made fonts, offering greater flexibility and creativity in designing captivating titles that complemented the visual narrative of my music video.

As I progressed through the editing process, I encountered technical issues with Premiere Pro, including looping and functionality issues. To avoid interruptions and maintain my editing flow, I transitioned to Davinci Resolve for the final phases of my timeline construction. Davinci Resolve not only provided a stable editing environment but also offered powerful color grading tools, allowing me to enhance the visual aesthetics of my footage and achieve a cohesive look and feel throughout the video.

In the concluding stages of post-production, I consolidated both timelines from Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve into Capcut for final edits and refinements. Capcut served as the central hub for completing the finishing touches, ensuring consistency and coherence across all aspects of the music video. By integrating the strengths of each editing software tool, I was able to overcome challenges, maximize creative potential, and ultimately deliver a polished and visually captivating music video.
